The Spanish mainland ports offer the most important and busiest ferry connections to Mallorca with daily departures and various shipping companies to choose from.
Barcelona - Palma
From Barcelona you can reach Palma de Mallorca in the south of the island with several shipping companies. Trasmed, Baleària and GNV serve this popular route all year round with one or two ferries a day. The crossing takes around 7 to 8 hours with conventional ferries, while fast ferries cover the route in 4 to 6 hours. Night ferries offer comfortable cabins and reclining chairs for the crossing. Vehicles can be taken on all connections.

The connection from Barcelona to Alcúdia in the north of Mallorca is also offered by Trasmed, Baleària and GNV. Here too, cabins are available on night ferries and vehicles can be taken on board.

From Valencia you can only get to the port of Palma de Mallorca. The Baleària, Trasmed and GNV shipping companies offer one to three departures a day, depending on the season. The crossing takes around 7 to 8 hours. Comfortable cabins are available on the longer journeys and you can easily take your vehicle with you.

Dénia is the closest mainland port to Mallorca. From here, Baleària operates at least one ferry a day to Palma de Mallorca all year round. Some crossings include a stopover in Ibiza. For travelers from Central Europe, the French ports offer a practical alternative with direct ferry connections to Mallorca, although these are only available in the summer months.
Toulon - Alcúdia
In the summer months, Corsica Ferries connects the French port of Toulon with Alcúdia in the north of Mallorca. The crossing takes around 12 to 14 hours and usually takes place overnight. The ships have comfortable cabins, restaurants and spacious vehicle decks for taking your own vehicle.

Also in the summer season, Corsica Ferries offers connections from Sète to Alcúdia. This route takes around 14 to 16 hours and is operated as a night ferry. As on the Toulon route, cabins and vehicle decks are also available here.

Ferries to Menorca
From Mallorca, you can easily reach the neighboring island of Menorca with regular ferry connections, with the Alcúdia-Ciutadella route being the fastest connection.
Alcúdia - Ciutadella
The shortest connection between Mallorca and Menorca is from Alcúdia to Ciutadella. Baleària and Menorca Lines offer fast catamarans several times a day all year round, which only take 1 hour 15 minutes for the crossing. In the summer months, Corsica Ferries supplements the offer with conventional ferries that take around 2.5 hours. Car transport is possible on all connections.

Both Baleària and Trasmed operate fast catamarans on this route with a journey time of approx. 2 hours 15 minutes and conventional ferries with a journey time of approx. 4 hours.
